Marv Nelson

Marv Nelson, the new CEO of A-dec, brings a wealth of leadership experience to the OBA Board. His career journey reflects a dynamic mix of leadership, innovation, and a notable commitment to community impact. Under Marv's leadership, A-dec stands as a significant OBA partner.


Fun Fact From Marv: My wife, Sandy, and I have been married for 40 years in July, and we are proud grandparents of two boys, Brooks 3 ½ and Myles 2 months


 

Melissa Spain

Melissa Spain, Treasurer for OBA and Partner at Moss Adams, further demonstrates her commitment to Portland through her role on the board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon & SW Washington. Beyond her financial stewardship responsibilities, Melissa's dedication to fostering connections for the next generation is proven.


Fun Fact From Melissa: I have four children, a great husband, and two dogs.  All of the human family members love wake surfing in the summer and skiing in the winter.  We are addicted!


 

Megan Talbert

Megan Talbert, a dynamic young professional and Business Week alum, is a standout addition to our Board. She is currently working as a Technical Program Manager at Google.  Megan formerly served as Business Week Intern and she played a vital role in bringing the program back to Oregon in 2023 as Program Manager.  Her firsthand experience will bring a unique perspective to the board.


Fun Fact From Megan: I am currently learning to snowboard and taking American Sign Language (ASL) classes!


 

Traci Esteve

Traci Esteve, the Director of Information Risk Management at The Standard and a long-time Business Week Company Advisor, is a natural fit for OBA’s Board. Traci's dedication exemplifies her commitment to empowering and guiding the next generation of leaders.


Fun Fact from Traci: When I'm not out skiing or hiking, I love cooking international dishes with my family and pursuing my passion for all things tech (cyber, AI, data privacy).




 

Tara Kinateder

Tara Kinateder, EVP Principal and Portfolio Manager at Ferguson Wellman, joins OBA's board, bringing nearly two decades of investment experience. Her leadership includes roles in sustainable investing, practice management and oversight of the firm’s new office in Bellevue, WA.  Recognized as one of Portland's "Women of Influence" in 2021 2020, Tara's diverse leadership roles extend beyond finance. Her blend of professional expertise and philanthropic engagement aligns perfectly with OBA's goals.


Fun Fact From Tara: I had an unplanned lunch with President Jimmy Carter.
